I don’t know where or how to begin to thank Dr. T. and her team. We took our 10 year old golden retriever, Stella to Gem after we believe she suffered a stroke. We had never been to this vet before. I had not even heard of this vet. I just knew our regular vet was closed as it was Sunday and I did not want to use a very expensive emergency vet where the wait would likely have been significant. I had texted Gem to inquire. They suggested I bring Stella in immediately, as there was no wait and they could see her for this. We were greeted immediately and taken back quickly. It was determined Stella’s condition was likely terminal. I did not want to delay the inevitable nor did I want Stella to suffer. We chose to euthanize her. This very difficult process was made easier by the wonderful Dr. T. and staff at Gem. We were also offered a pay over time pay service, Cherry which we utilized. It helped immensely as this was a fairly large unexpected expense. I wish I could use this vet for regular vet services for my other pets because they were so kind, caring, respectful and professional. Thank You.

We had an outstanding experience at Gems. We were seen promptly, and from the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel reassured and cared for. They were kind, attentive, and compassionate throughout the entire visit. Our cat (who is a cherished family member and who is generally nervous with new people and places) was very calm during the process so that was a good indication as well. Our cat had to undergo “minor surgery”, but the staff made sure to give us great post-op directions and Gavin did check in’s to make sure our cat was doing well and let us know that they are available for any follow up questions or concerns that we have during her recovery process.

I did not hesitate leaving our cat in the hands of people who immediately treated her with such kindness and respect. We are truly grateful for finding such a place that provides the efficient care, professionalism, and compassion that it takes to provide stellar vet services. We moved to the area several months ago and were looking for a locally owned, veterinarian-owned practice for our two dogs. I’m very particular about finding a vet I can trust. After calling and visiting several practices, I decided to establish our dogs’ care with Gems, and I’m so glad I did! Although Gems is an urgent care practice, they also offer general veterinary care.

Dr. T and her team are wonderful with our dogs. They are compassionate, kind, and attentive. They truly listen to my concerns and take the time to answer my questions without making me feel rushed.

Both of our dogs have had health issues, and the team has always been able to get us in the same day when we’ve needed care. Their hours also work very well with my busy schedule. I especially appreciate Dr. T’s calm, knowledgeable approach. She explains the options without pushing unnecessary tests or procedures. If I ask about a test that wouldn’t add useful information or change the treatment plan, she tells me honestly. That means a lot to me.

Recently, I found a few small lumps on one of my dogs. Dr. T examined and aspirated them, and one turned out to be cancerous. She scheduled surgery for the very next day to remove it and send it for biopsy. Everything moved quickly, and both the surgery and recovery went very well. Dr. T has continued to support us while our dog receives treatment from an oncologist, and we are so grateful for her ongoing care.

I trust Dr. T and her team with my dogs. It’s clear that they truly care about their patients and the pet parents—and they are excellent at what they do. I highly recommend Gems!

We’ve had two visits with our Shih Tzu, and both experiences have been wonderful.
Dr. Trifonova is absolutely amazing! She is incredibly warm and caring and my dog absolutely loves her.

Gems made the vet visit very pleasant for my cat. Took her temperature in her ear. Allowed her to roam the room (although she opted to hide behind me), gave her treats and affection to help her stay calm. All treatment went to where she was instead of on the exam table. They had a quilted cover so it would be warm and comfy for her. While it was not inexpensive, it was a much better experience (and less expensive) than an ER visit. Lovely and caring staff. This place is phenomenal. I came with my puppy and had my two children with me. Not only did they take incredible care of my dog, but they also offered my children snacks and a movie in the reception area so I could focus on the appointment and have a moment to decompress from the stressful situation. My dog got an eye infection in the middle of the week and no one had an appointment until Monday! I took my dog to Gems because I didn't want my dog to have to wait so long for care. We were able to see a doctor right away. Everyone was super kind and the place is new and clean.
